What is the difference between an Unsecured Credit Card and a Secured Credit Card?

A secured credit card is a card that requires a cash collateral deposit that becomes the credit line for the card account. An Unsecured regular Credit Card does not require you to deposit a cash collateral to open the credit card account. Instead, the Bank will use your credit score history information to qualify you for a card.
